I think it does come down to pricing. If you’re going to go to a gym and you’re going to spend $100 on groceries, you’re going to feel a bit better about your spending if you can have that gym as part of your monthly grocery budget. That’s because you are spending the money for the benefits, not just for the money. That’s really the point of a gym/fitness center in my opinion.
