For people who use the word “fitness,” I understand that it is a way to measure the effectiveness of something, specifically something that you are doing. Yet, I don’t believe that it is the real meaning of “fitness,” or the actual purpose of the word “fitness.
For me, fitness is an activity that is part of your life. It is not a measurement of how much you are doing. When I workout, I am doing something that is part of my life, and its not all about how much you do. If you are doing a ton of cardio then you are doing something that is not you, it is a form of torture for you.
The purpose of fitness is to improve your health. It is the first thing that comes up when you’re trying to get rid of junk food. Since you’re doing something that is not you, you’re not feeling the pain of the food that you are eating.
Now as to your second point, we have to understand that fitness is not a bad thing. I have no desire to be the guy that beats his wife to death every morning so that he can eat her corpse every night. I have no desire to get fat, so to speak. It’s no different than someone who does a ton of cardio and then just stops. The amount of cardio you do isn’t going to make you fatter.
A lot of the reasons we go to the gym are health reasons. I dont know what your reasons are for getting a body fat, but it doesnt have to be the same as mine.
I dont like cardio that much, but I have no desire to get fat. I can go for a run, but I dont want to be a fat fat guy with muscle all over my body. I hate the idea of a guy wanting to look like he is in shape to impress his friends, but thats just me.
It’s probably a good thing that you dont want to be that guy with muscle all over your body because it would probably make you look like you are trying to impress your friends. Thats why you go to the gym and workout.
Yeah, it’s pretty funny how, in the gym, you’re doing the same exercise as the guys in the barbershop next to you. It’s not that you really don’t like the idea of looking like a guy with muscle, but you don’t want to look like you are trying to impress your friends. If you really want to look like you are in shape, you should go to the gym and do the same exercise as the guys in the barbershop next to you.
Most people don’t realize that the gym is actually a place where we are encouraged to exercise. We are encouraged to be creative and try new things. We are not encouraged to get lazy about our bodies. So when you walk into the room they expect you to go into this mode. They expect you to do the same thing as the guys in the barbershop next to you. So when you try to do it you think that is how it has to be.
I guess what I am getting at is that we expect to be told to do the same as the guys in the barbershop next to us. We expect to be encouraged to be creative and try new things. We expect to be told to be lazy about our bodies.
