They have been in the profession for a long time. They know what they are doing, and they are experts. At some point, they have to stop and think about the value they add to your life. That is why they have to be the best at what they do so that you can have a successful career.
Business school advisors are often given a curriculum in business. They are not trained in a particular field, but they are trained in the ways to get your business idea and your business on track. They are the ones who have to come up with the business plan, figure out how to get the most out of what you do, and then write the strategy that will move your business from good to great.

I was a business school advisor for about ten years. I was the person who came into the office early in the morning, sat down at the computer, and waited for the business school advisor to come in. The real question is how much work that person is going to do to get the message out. It doesn’t matter what message the person is going to get. Once he steps into the business school office, you can’t really ask him any questions about what he has to do. The message the person is going to get is that the business school advisor will have to work a lot faster.
My advice for now is, do not be afraid to let your company know that your message is not going to get out. The company will take care of the message. If you can figure out how to get the message out, you can use some of the company’s resources to get the message out.

But the problem is that business school is also very good at telling you that you cant lose focus on the goal. This is particularly important with new business owners, who are just starting to become successful. It’s bad advice.
